Hi again. I figured I'd give a little bit of background on how I bake to explain why I select some recipes instead of others. Some important points are:
1. I don't have a mixer, so all batters, dough and frosting gets mixed or whipped by me or my lovely, stronger friends.
2. My oven is a little strange. It doesn't bake through cakes very well, yet handles cupcakes just fine. In addition it's gas and because it shoots scary flames I have named it "Hell".
3. Although I'm not a big health nut, I do try to use baking recipes that incorporate Greek yogurt and olive oil, as I always have those ingredients around.
4. I like chocolate. Specifically, I like dark, rich chocolate. So if this seems like a chocolate blog, it wasn't trying to be one; it just happened.
